KoPart eG is the purchasing cooperative of the Association of Cities and Municipalities of North Rhine-Westphalia. Its members are municipalities and companies under public ownership. For a number of these member municipalities (participants in the electronic catalogue purchasing of KoPart, as well as possible future members), KoPart eG intends to award the framework agreement for the supply of school furniture. The circle of members participating in the electronic catalogue purchase can be extended at any time from the circle of members of KoPart. The list of members is viewable on the internet. In addition, other public contracting entities can become members of KoPart eG and then access the framework agreements. KoPart eG acts exclusively as the contracting entity in the award of the framework agreements. The specifications will be integrated into the electronic catalogue purchasing of KoPart (function similar to a webshop) after the award of the contract. The members of KoPart who are connected are to cover their needs as far as possible by means of the electronic catalogue purchasing from the awarded framework agreements. To this end, the purchasers designated by the members are given online access to the ordering platform. There, the authorized purchasers can compile a shopping cart, which is then electronically forwarded to the relevant supplier. The latter then processes the further order. The contract for the delivery of the goods is concluded exclusively between the supplier and the respective member. KoPart is not a party to the supply contract. There is no obligation for the individual members or their purchasers to use the purchasing system.
