Netherlands – Weapons, ammunition and associated parts – Light Remote Firing Device

The Dutch Ministry of Defence uses a Light Remote Firing Device in order to be able to initiate both electrically and non-electrically initiated detonators. The Dutch Ministry of Defence is to procure a small lightweight, single handheld wired and shock tube induced firing Device. The system is used to ignite explosives through a shock tube or electrical inducted detonation for demolition or breaching purposes.
