Description

A new campus for the Department of Aerospace and Geodesy of the Technical University of Munich is to be created on the municipal area of Taufkirchen, south of Munich. The task underlying the procedure includes both the creation of a master plan for the entire scope and the building and open space planning for an already defined first construction phase (BA 1). The total area to be developed is approximately 5.3 hectares. The total area of the Free State of Bavaria at the site comprises about 7 hectares, of which approximately 1.7 hectares are already occupied by interim buildings. The planned total area of the campus across all construction phases amounts to approximately 42,000 square meters of usable floor space (NUF 1–6). In BA 1, approximately 9,800 square meters of NUF 1–6 will be created. Of this, approximately 4,520 square meters are allocated to the usable floor space NUF 2 and approximately 5,280 square meters to the NUF 3. Within the NUF 3, approximately 3,000 square meters are planned for workshops. This includes four halls with more than 250 square meters of floor space, two of which have clear room heights of up to 10 meters and one of up to 5.5 meters. Additionally, seven halls with less than 250 square meters of floor space will be created, two of which have clear room heights of up to 10 meters. The occupancy rate of the NUF 3 on the ground floor is approximately 80 percent. The later construction phases will include approximately 32,120 additional square meters of NUF 1–6. These will include, among other things, office and research spaces, lecture halls, a canteen, and a library. Further information on the project can be found in Annex 6 "Tender Document II_Short Version". In addition, a detailed task description (Tender Document II) will be made available to the participants selected for the procedure with the start of the competitive dialogue.
