Sweden – Orthotic services – Ortopedtekniska tjänster Region Sörmland och Region Västmanland

Region Sörmland and Region Västmanland (buyer) are conducting a procurement of orthopaedic technical services as described in the procurement documents. The procurement concerns orthopaedic technical services, which include responsibility for and operation of the orthopaedic technical activities related to measurement, manufacture, testing, fitting, modelling, repair and maintenance, as well as service of orthopaedic aids. The assignment also includes consultancy services and medical, technical and administrative follow-up of provided aids in various team activities such as gait school, habilitation team, diabetes team, wound care team and foot team. Regarding contract area 1 Orthopaedic Department, the Supplier shall operate an orthopaedic department (OTA) in the buyer's premises at the hospitals as follows: Region Sörmland: • Mälarsjukhuset in Eskilstuna • Nyköpings Lasarett in Nyköping • Kullbergska Sjukhuset in Katrineholm Region Västmanland: • Västmanlands Sjukhus in Västerås The assignment includes the following product groups within contract area 1: • Limb prostheses (lower and upper) • Limb orthoses (lower and upper) • Spinal orthoses • Orthopaedic shoes and insoles including shoe adaptations • Breast prostheses Regarding contract area 2 Custom-moulded seats, the Supplier shall provide orthopaedic technical services within the area of custom-moulded seats according to the procurement documents. The assignment includes the following product groups within contract area 2: • Custom-moulded seats • Other related products according to the price list Tenders shall be submitted for at least one of the contract areas in this procurement. Tenders may be submitted for all contract areas in this procurement. The buyer intends to award a procurement contract with one (1) supplier for contract area 1 and one (1) supplier for contract area 2 as above. A supplier awarded a procurement contract for one contract area may also be awarded a procurement contract for the other contract area. Procurement contracts are awarded with the same supplier(s) for both regions. This procurement replaces the current procurement contract, IN-IN19-0104, which expires on 2027-04-30.
