Description

The scope of services concerns the comprehensive renovation of two listed existing buildings (former clinics) with planning and conversion into new administrative and laboratory rooms for the Max-Planck-Institut für Geoanthropologie in Jena. The former urology clinic, located on plot 105 / Lessingstraße 1, features a listed part from 1914 and an extension from 1991. The former ENT clinic, located on plot 102/5 / Lessingstraße 2, was built in 1928. Each building is four-storey with an additional partially daylighted basement and an unfinished gable storey. The buildings and garden are listed; therefore, close coordination with the State Office for Heritage Conservation or the lower heritage conservation authority is required. The institute building will predominantly consist of office space and ancillary office space. Additionally, seminar rooms, a laboratory area with storage space, server rooms, and a Decision Theatre are planned. The laboratory area will be designed as a jointly used laboratory pool for all experimentally working organizational units. The highly equipped experimental area with laboratories, laboratory storage, and servers is to be housed in the extension of the former urology clinic. The low-equipped office and communication spaces will be housed in the listed part of the urology clinic and in the ENT clinic. The subject of this VgV procurement procedure are the services of the technical equipment planning (ELT) according to § 55 HOAI in conjunction with Annex 15 to HOAI 2021 for the plant groups 4, 5 and 6 in the performance phases 2, 3 and 5 to 9 as well as the special services described in the contract and in its Annex A. The project will be carried out as a BIM project in the Open-BIM procedure. The contract also includes the BIM-related services, coordination services, as well as the creation, updating, and provision of the specialist models according to the contractual specifications, as described in the contract documents including the scope of services. Further information on the initial situation, task description, and scope of services can be found in Annex 01 and in the Engineering Contract Technical Building Equipment ELT including the scope of services. Special note regarding tenderer questions due to special external events (e.g. SARS-COV-2 or Ukraine war): Please take into account any possible or recognisable impairments in your offer, e.g. with regard to the availability of materials and products, workforce, a possibly delayed submission of required evidence, effects on any subcontractors, etc. Questions arising in this context, please submit in good time before the deadline for submission of tenders via the eTendering messaging system.
