The selected municipal sites for the development of a complex for the education and care of children are particularly suitable due to their proximity to the future medical university area and their existing infrastructure. The available site already houses a school building with a temporary container structure, which currently expands the already limited space capacities. In addition, two small sports halls and a sports field complement the educational offerings at this location. To expand the space available for daycare and school places, additional areas such as a traffic garden, an existing daycare centre with approx. 200 places, and the daycare centre House 2 are available. To develop the available site at Drebkauer Straße into a comprehensive educational and care facility, additional daycare places are to be created to ensure the required care capacities.
