Västerås Municipality is facing a need to modernise and streamline its administrative payroll processes. The current approach relies heavily on several different systems and manual routines, which involves a risk of errors, double work and lack of oversight. Current solutions are not sufficiently integrated or adapted to the requirements of a modern, data-driven and legally secure payroll management in a large municipal organisation. With this procurement, the Municipality aims to ensure a coherent, user-friendly and cloud-based system support that enables automation and increased quality in delivery to both employees and operations. The procurement is in line with Västerås Municipality's work on digitalisation, efficient administration and improved work environment for staff with administrative responsibilities.
