The contracting authority awards the contractor the execution of maintenance, basic, glass and frame cleaning works, as well as demand-driven special cleaning works, provision and replacement of dirt-trapping mats for schools of the Steglitz-Zehlendorf district office of Berlin. The contract to be awarded includes regular maintenance cleaning works in day and evening operations, as well as regular and irregular, demand-driven special cleaning works, an annual basic cleaning and an annual glass and frame cleaning. Furthermore, the contract also includes for certain properties the provision and regular replacement of dirt-trapping mats. Bidders are advised that only for the lots an offer may be submitted that corresponds to the actual capacity of the bidder, also taking into account the time span between the submission of the offer and the start of the contract. If the contracting authority determines during the examination and evaluation phase of the offer that the offer does not correspond to the capacity of the bidder, the entire offer will be excluded from further evaluation. Provided that the awarding capacity is met, each bidder may submit an offer for a maximum of 2 - two - lots and may receive an award for a maximum of two lots, provided that he has submitted the most economical offer for this. Inspection dates To avoid miscalculation, the contracting authority strongly recommends inspecting all objects before submitting the offer. In the past, cleaning deficiencies in several buildings have led to contract penalties. An inspection ensures that all structural peculiarities are known and that the costs can be calculated in accordance with the contract. The bidder must notify the contracting authority via the tendering platform of the objects he wishes to inspect by 25.09.2026 in writing. The tendering entity will then transmit a list of the relevant contacts in the respective facilities. The inspections are to be arranged with the respective contact person on site by 09.10.2026. The bidder is requested to adhere to the agreed time specifications in order to avoid unnecessary disruptions to the service operation in the objects.
