Finland – Medical equipments, pharmaceuticals and personal care products – Kirurgiset haavaimutarvikkeet

The HUS Group invites tenders for surgical drainage products. The procurement is divided into 12 sub-areas (product groups) as follows:

1. Drainage suction with suction tube and collection bag for draining large volumes

2. Drainage suction with suction tube and collection bag for draining medium volumes

3. Drainage suction with suction tube and low-power suction and collection bag

4. Drainage suction with passive suction tube and collection bag

5. Drainage suction with passive suction without collection bag for draining medium volumes

6. Drainage suction with passive suction without collection bag for draining small volumes

7. Silicone drain

8. Silicone spiral drain

9. Flat drain, silicone

10. Round drain, silicone

11. Strip drain, latex

12. Drain carrier bag

The products are described in more detail in Appendix 1 Price and Product List. The aim is to obtain safe and reliable products through competitive bidding. The aim is also to ensure good delivery reliability and availability of the products when needed. The procurement target also includes additional products related to the offered products, such as additional sizes and accessories, which are reported in Appendix 1 Price and Product List Additional Tender Form. During the contract period, it is also possible to procure products belonging to the product groups covered by the contract, which have not been identified in the product appendix (see contract draft). The contract period is two (2) years, after which the contract will continue indefinitely. This is a joint procurement by several procurement units, implemented as a procurement ring. The products requested in this tender notice will be used by: HUS Group (HUS), South Karelia Wellbeing Area, Kymenlaakso Wellbeing Area, Päijät-Häme Wellbeing Area and Central Uusimaa Wellbeing Area. See Appendix 3 Draft Procurement Contract for more details. The estimated total value of the procurement (VAT 0%) is approximately 720 000 euros. This is an estimate, and the procurement unit is not bound to the reported euro amounts and the consumption amounts reported in the tender notice. The final order quantities may be larger or smaller than reported. Most of the products are flow-through products that are ordered from the HUS ordering system, delivered to the HUS central warehouse in Uutistie, Vantaa, and distributed from there to the HUS and Kymenlaakso operating sites. The Päijät-Häme Wellbeing Area and the South Karelia Wellbeing Area make their own orders from their own ordering systems, and the products are also delivered to the addresses they specify. HUS estimates that of the total value of the procurement mentioned above, approximately 6% is orders from the South Karelia Wellbeing Area and approximately 10% is orders from the Päijät-Häme Wellbeing Area (non-binding estimate).
