Turku Energia is tendering for a lease agreement for the location of a water tank (later Hybrid Battery) used for storing district heating and cooling water, as well as for the establishment contract for the battery's placement in the Kupittaa and Itäharju areas of Turku. Turku Energia is seeking a partner with whom a long-term lease agreement will be made for the placement of the hybrid battery and its required ancillary equipment. In addition to the lease agreement, the contract includes the establishment contract for the hybrid battery, which will build the base and protective/covering structure for the placement of the hybrid battery.
