Germany – Engineering-design services for traffic installations – Verkehrsuntersuchung für das Neubaugebiet Schafhaus mit Konzeption für landwirtschaftliche Verkehre u. Freizeitverkehre sowie ÖPNV-Machbarkeitsstudie

In the north of Stuttgart, the new Schafhaus development area in Mühlhausen is being developed on approximately 17 ha in a topographically challenging area. It borders directly on the existing settlement area of Mühlhausen. Approximately 700 new residential units in multi-storey residential buildings, a primary school, several day-care centres, a neighbourhood centre with various social infrastructure facilities, and high-quality green and open spaces are to be created in the new development area. The objective of the assignment is to gather important planning bases for the planning of open spaces and transport infrastructure. In particular, the traffic generation due to the development of the Schafhaus new development area, the necessary dimensioning of stationary traffic resulting from this, the performance analysis of intersections and the traffic modelling in the zero and planning scenarios are important planning parameters.
