Germany – Data-processing machines (hardware) – Instandhaltung und Cash Management Fahrausweisautomaten

The DB Vertrieb GmbH (hereinafter the "Contracting Authority") is responsible for, among other things, the distribution of public transport tickets. A key distribution channel is a nationwide network of technical devices: stationary ticket vending machines (FAA or sFAA), where passengers can purchase tickets themselves, video travel centers (VRZ) for personal consultation via a video counter, ticket validators (FAE) for validating tickets, and a mobile fleet of mobile ticket vending machines (mFAA) and mobile ticket validators (mFAE), which are predominantly used in vehicles. To ensure that this network of devices is reliably available and that cash revenues are securely processed, DB Vertrieb GmbH is procuring two closely related services with this tender: - the maintenance of the devices: This includes measures to maintain and restore the technical availability, functionality, and operational safety of the devices, - regular and time-bound maintenance and inspection services (e.g., routine maintenance, DGUV inspection) and the repair of the devices and the elimination of faults, and - cash management - i.e., the cash logistics supply of the devices and the processing of cash. The subject of this tender is the award of framework agreements for these services. The Contracting Authority is looking for service providers who can perform these tasks nationwide and to fixed service standards. The contract is divided into nine individual lots: – Lots 1 to 4 – Maintenance: Maintenance services for stationary ticket vending machines, video travel centers and ticket validators, divided into four regional lots (North-West, North-East, South-West, South-East). – Lots 5 to 8 – Cash Management: Cash management services for stationary machines and sales outlets (manned and unmanned outlets, cash deposit machines), divided into the same four regions. – Lot 9 – mobile devices (combined): Maintenance and cash management services for mobile ticket vending machines and mobile ticket validators, nationwide. Bidders can apply for a single lot, for several, or for all lots; details on multiple awards and award quantity discounts are regulated by the price lists and the further tender documents.
