Description

The Municipality of Maastricht is responsible for maintaining the safety and livability of the city. This is achieved, among other things, through the use of CCTV. Whereas CCTV was previously implemented in a fragmented manner within the municipal organisation, efforts have been made in recent years to centralise CCTV organisation. This facilitates the management and control of the environment and ensures the continuity and operation of CCTV. Significant steps have been taken, particularly in the area of software. Thus, most of the cameras are now connected to the generic video management system (VMS). The Contracting Authority's objective is to conclude one (1) framework agreement with one (1) contractor (Contractor) for a period of four (4) years for the procurement, installation, management and maintenance of cameras in accordance with the most recent legislation (Dutch legislation), supplemented by the framework agreement between the Contracting Authority and the Contractor. This framework agreement also includes the replacement and management of a number of workstations and the management of and provision of consultancy/support regarding the current video management system (including software maintenance agreement). Further description of the contract can be found in the guidance and the requirements programme.
