This contract aims to appoint a leasing company that offers bike leasing and additional all-in services (maintenance, insurance, repair, operational management) to all staff members of the City and OCMW Beringen, the 2 municipal primary schools and the Academy, and that meet the award criteria of the bike policy. Currently, 144 leasing contracts under the current framework agreement are still running, which expires on 31 December 2026. The existing leasing contracts will expire as follows: 7 in 2026, 39 in 2027, 50 in 2028 and 48 in 2029. New from 2027 is that the staff members of the schools SBS Koersel and SBS Korspel and of the Academy for Music, Word and Dance will also be able to participate. The following number of employees are eligible for bike leasing within the different entities: - City of Beringen: 354 - OCMW Beringen: 107 - SBS Koersel: 55 - SBS Korspel: 21 - Municipal Academy (SAMWD): 70. The actual quantities will be determined by the individual choice of the staff members concerned. It is intended that the staff members have a free choice of the type of bike and that they also have a choice between a leasing term of 36 months or 48 months. Within the city and OCMW, bike leasing will be offset against the end-of-year allowance. It must be possible to take over the bike individually at the end of the leasing period against an agreed residual value. The inventory requested has the sole purpose of gaining insight into the price structure: offered lease price, breakdown assistance, insurance, maintenance and administrative costs, take-over amount, etc. The inventory contains the most common types of bicycles, is non-exhaustive and serves only to make a clear comparison when evaluating the tenders.
