Germany – Radio, television, communication, telecommunication and related equipment – Rahmenvereinbarung zur Beschaffung von Produkten des Herstellers AVID inklusive zugehörigen Leistun-gen, Service- und Supportleistungen sowie Subscription

The Westdeutscher Rundfunk Köln (WDR) intends to award a framework agreement for various services for AVID production systems. This includes the procurement of products including associated services, service and support services, as well as subscription. In addition to modifications to existing AVID systems at the WDR, to standardise products and to ensure uniform operating concepts, further products from the manufacturer AVID may be procured in the future. In addition to new procurement, this also involves updates, upgrades and consolidation of existing systems. The requirement for this is to be covered from this framework agreement without any obligation to take delivery. To ensure the operational readiness of existing and additional systems, service services are required at the various WDR locations. The basis for this is a component list of the AVID processing systems, AVID graphics systems and AVID audio systems with defined service levels and corresponding service prices. The manufacturer AVID changed its licensing model from purchase to subscription a few years ago. As part of this procedure, the conditions for this are also to be determined. The aim is to conclude a framework agreement with the most economical bidder with a term of 48 months. Currently, it is assumed that the volume will decrease over the term. The term of the framework agreement is scheduled to start on 01 January 2027. The total volume to be called off under the framework agreement is set at 4,15 million EUR optional maximum take-up quantity. There is no obligation on the part of the WDR to take delivery.
