Slovakia – Construction work – Cestný hraničný priechod Vyšné Nemecké, Osobná doprava – rozšírenie pracoviska

The subject of the contract is the expansion of infrastructure and increased capacity at the Slovak side of the border crossing Vyšné Nemecké - Uzhhorod (hereinafter referred to as "BCP Vyšné Nemecké") on the Slovak-Ukrainian border, specifically the reconstruction of the existing passenger traffic entry (entry of passenger traffic from Ukraine to the SR) and exit (exit of passenger traffic from the SR to Ukraine) at BCP Vyšné Nemecké. The subject of the reconstruction of the passenger traffic facility will result in the expansion of the current facility on the entry side and on the exit side with new traffic lanes and the construction of the relevant canopy space, the expansion of the bus traffic facility by creating another terminal for border control of bus traffic passengers, as well as the creation of a new corridor for pedestrians in both directions with complete infrastructure. A new building for the handling of bus passengers will be built between the passenger traffic area and the freight traffic area. The reconstruction will also include the addition of variable traffic signs to support traffic management at the border crossing and other features. In connection with the implementation of the EES system, new service booths will be installed that meet the requirements for collecting biometric data.
