Sweden – Construction work for tunnels, shafts and subways – Byggnation av tunnlar och schakt – MAXIMA

This procurement concerns the construction of tunnel and shaft works for the MAXIMA sewage system. The tunnel and shaft works are divided into two separate contracts, Avloppstunnel Norr and Avloppstunnel Söder, and are procured together in a package where bidders can choose to submit a bid for one or both contracts. Avloppstunnel Norr includes 4 shafts and a 10.5 km long main tunnel with an internal diameter of approximately 3 meters, extending from southern Lund to Sjölunda in northeastern Malmö. Avloppstunnel Söder includes 11 shafts, 2 microtunnels and the main tunnel, which extends 5.5 km through the central parts of Malmö and has an internal diameter of approximately 5 meters. The tunnels will transport wastewater by gravity and serve as reservoirs during heavy rainfall. Both contracts include building, construction and installation works for the new sewage tunnels.
