Germany – Architectural, construction, engineering and inspection services – LINEG - Generalplanung Neubau Einlaufgebäude und Sandfang Kläranlage Moers-Gerdt
Description
The Linksniederrheinische Entwässerungs-Genossenschaft (LINEG) operates the Moers-Gerdt wastewater treatment plant with a design capacity of 250,000 PE and a current load of approximately 190,000 PE. The plant treats municipal and industrial wastewater from parts of the cities of Moers and Duisburg. LINEG plans to construct a new inlet building and a new sand trap on the site. The planning task includes a general plan for the civil engineering structure, technical equipment (all plant groups) and structural design, as well as construction management according to the HOAI performance schedules. In addition, the contractor will be entrusted with further services. These include the preparation of cost-benefit analyses (in the form of a full cost accounting), the explosion protection document, necessary risk assessments, and operational and maintenance instructions, the safety and health coordination, the coordination of the initial commissioning according to the Operating Safety Ordinance (including documentation), the compilation of all documentation prepared by the executing companies into a complete documentation, and the review of the as-built revision documents. In the inlet building to be planned, the pressure lines of six different pump stations will come together. Here, the inflow to the wastewater treatment plant is combined in a collecting shaft. The dry-weather flow is Qt=698 l/s, and the combined sewer flow is Qmax=1536 l/s. The aim of the project is the comprehensive modernisation of the inlet group, including screens, sand trap, inlet/outlet structures, and the associated machinery, EMSR and HVAC technology, in order to provide a high-performance, redundant, low-maintenance and energy-efficient mechanical cleaning stage. The subject of the procedure is the award of a general planning contract for the new construction of the inlet building and sand trap of the Moers-Gerdt wastewater treatment plant. The general planning service includes, in particular, the structural design of the civil engineering structure, the specialist planning of the technical equipment, and the specialist planning of the structural design.
