Procedure for awarding a contract via the European open procedure in accordance with the (amended) Public Procurement Act 2012. Contracting authority The contracting authority for this procurement is the Municipality of Breda. For more information about the Municipality of Breda, please refer to the municipality's website: www.breda.nl. Contract The contract concerns the management, maintenance and further development of the municipal AED network of Breda. The contractor is responsible for the central management of the AEDs, including periodic checks, preventive maintenance, replacement of batteries and electrodes, rectification of faults and the rapid redeployment of used AEDs. Lots This contract is not divided into lots. Objective The objective of this procurement is to conclude a framework agreement for the provision of these services with a duration of two (2) years, with a start date of 1 January 2027. The contracting authority has the unilateral right to extend this period two (2) times by one (1) year. The decision on this/these extension(s) will be made on the basis of an evaluation of the performance delivered. Maximum contract value The maximum contract value for this framework agreement is set at € 325,000,- over the duration of the agreement, including extension options. No rights may be derived from the aforementioned amount. The contracting authority has no obligation to purchase. If the maximum contract value is exceeded during the duration of the framework agreement, the framework agreement will (prematurely) be terminated.
