The municipality intends to enter into an agreement with a supplier who, on a purchase basis, can supply and install a new and professional camera system including Video Management System (VMS) for both the centre of Ter Apel and the Ter Apelervenen in Ter Apel. In addition, a service and maintenance agreement (SLA) must be entered into with regard to the provision of services to keep the entire camera system in optimal condition. The main objective of the camera surveillance is ‘maintaining public order’.
