Netherlands – Construction work – Realisatie nieuwbouw kindcentrum Zijdelwaard te Uithoorn

The municipality of Uithoorn wishes to realise a new child centre in the Zijdelwaard district. The new child centre Zijdelwaard will house a broad spectrum of functions and organisations, including a primary school, international language class, medical orthopedic centre, nursery, childcare, out-of-school care and a youth meeting place. The child centre will be a multifunctional facility where learning, care, support and meeting come together. It must be a low-threshold, future-proof and safe place for children, parents, professionals and the neighbourhood. The works consist of: - preparing the detailed design for construction, installations and landscape design; - the circular demolition of the existing primary school De Vuurvogel and making the site ready for the new construction of the child centre; - the realisation of the new construction for the child centre Zijdelwaard, both structurally, technically and also the landscape design. The new child centre Zijdelwaard to be realised has a size of 3,220 m2bvo.
