Coolaney/Mullinabreena GAA invites tenders for the construction of a new, high-specification Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) at our club grounds in Nace O'Dowd Park, Achonry, Tubbercurry, Co Sligo. The project requires a turnkey delivery encompassing all aspects of site preparation, civil works, specialist sports surfacing, perimeter infrastructure, and related ancillary installations.The successful contractor will act as the Project Supervisor Construction Stage (PSCS) and will be responsible for delivering the project in full compliance with current building regulations, health and safety legislation, and relevant sports governing body standards. The scope of this contract includes, but is not limited to, the following elements: Site Preparation: Excavation, topsoil removal, earthworks, and sub-grade preparation. Installation of a comprehensive sub-base drainage network connected to a suitable discharge point.Supply and compaction of standard geotextile membranes and graded stone aggregate layers. Supply and installation of a high-durability, all-weather synthetic sports surface (e.g., 3G synthetic turf or polymeric surfacing) complete with multi-sport line markings. Installation of a heavy-duty, rebound-style twin-wire mesh perimeter fence (typically 3m–4m high) including integrated access/maintenance gates and upper-level ball-stop netting. Provision of a perimeter concrete kerb, concrete access pathways, and floodlighting. The type of contract will be: Works (Open Procedure) using Public Works Short Form of Contract (PW-CF6). Funding will be a combination of grant funding and associated match funding from the Clubs own resource. Strict adherence to public procurement guidelines is mandatory.
