The properties of the municipality of Kaiseraugst are equipped with mechanical and mechatronic locking systems. Various locking systems have reached the end of their lifecycle, and renovations are planned and being carried out in various sub-projects. A new locking system, responsible for all the properties of the municipal and local community, is to be procured for the replacement of the existing locking systems and for the equipment of new buildings. As a replacement, a locking system is envisaged, combined with a mechanical locking system and an electronic access control system with access readers, electronic door fittings and electronic digital cylinders.
