Germany – Structural steelworks – Gleisumbau Gleis 206 zum Messgleis im Werk Hamburg-Langenfelde, DB Fernverkehr AG

For the DB Fernverkehr AG, the reconstruction of track 206 is planned at the Hamburg-Langenfelde site to create measurement areas for the maintenance of rail vehicles. The aim of the measure is to establish a measurement track and several track sections with a defined track position for carrying out geometric measurements and wheel load measurements on rail vehicles. The measurement areas are to be designed in particular for vehicles of the ICE 1 (BR 401) and ICE 4 (BR 412) series. The subject of the present tender is the planning, production, delivery, assembly, commissioning, calibration and final acceptance of the measurement areas in the existing elevated track within the wagon hall. As part of the measure, a total of approximately 168 m of measurement areas are to be created in accordance with DIN 25043 1 and DIN EN 15654 2. In addition, the scope of services includes, among others: • the dismantling of five pairs of track bridges, • the establishment of a total of 10 measurement areas, • the upgrading of two track pit passages to measurement track quality, • the adaptation of existing track supports and the establishment of additional support systems, • the complete static and structural design planning including evidence as well as • the coordination and implementation of the calibration in coordination with other contractors. The measurement areas serve for the integration of wheel load measuring devices (RAKME), the procurement of which is not part of this tender. There is an interface with a separately contracted contractor for the RAKME systems. The construction work is carried out taking into account the existing infrastructure in the hall, ongoing maintenance processes and parallel construction activities. Special requirements exist with regard to statics, occupational safety, grounding systems and compliance with relevant railway-specific standards and guidelines. The implementation period of the project ends on 28.02.2027.
