Belgium – Venepuncture, blood sampling devices – Raamovereenkomst voor de aankoop en levering van afnamemateriaal voor het klinisch laboratorium, voorzien van unieke barcodes

The General Hospital AZ Groeninge Kortrijk wishes to enter into an agreement for the purchase and delivery of pre-barcode labelled specimen collection material for the collection of blood, urine, faeces, fluids and other bodily materials. The agreement will be concluded for a term of 4 years, with the possibility of being extended for 4 periods of 1 year each, by tacit renewal. The contract is divided into the following lots: - Lot No. 1: Blood tubes, needles and needle holders; - Lot No. 2: Urine containers and tubes; - Lot No. 3: Paediatric blood collection material; - Lot No. 4: Blood gas syringes; - Lot No. 5: Miscellaneous (e.g. pots for faeces collection, sputum, …); - Lot No. 6: The supply of labels with unique barcodes and the application of the labels to the items of lots 3, 4 and 5, as well as to the swabs used in the clinical laboratory. For lots 1 & 2, the tubes must be provided with unique barcodes at the time of production. For lots 3, 4 and 5, the materials may also be barcoded afterwards. This can be done by the supplier of the collection material itself, or by a third party (see lot 6). Given the heterogeneity of lot 5, this lot will, unlike the other lots, be awarded to multiple suppliers. It must be possible to have the orders placed by the 2 different activity centres within the organisation, AZ Groeninge Kortrijk and the Sint-Jozefskliniek Izegem, with separate deliveries. The orders within this agreement will be executed on call, based on separate order forms.
