The European Commission, Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs, intends to conclude a framework agreement for the provision of services for the management of the European Union's external borders. The services will include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Operational support for border management activities, including the deployment of experts and equipment;

- Training and capacity building for national authorities;

- Development and implementation of risk analysis and assessment tools;

- Support for the development and implementation of integrated border management strategies;

- Support for the development and implementation of information and communication systems for border management;

- Support for the development and implementation of joint operations and initiatives with third countries;

- Support for the development and implementation of return and readmission policies and procedures.
