Switzerland – Airport buildings construction work – Gesamtleister-Submission Rega Jet-Basis Zürich

The Flughafen Zürich AG (FZAG) intends to publicly procure the overall performance for the planning and creation of the new Jet Base of the Swiss Air-Rescue Rega in the West Zone at Zurich Airport and to have it planned and subsequently executed by the most suitable supplier from Phase 31 onwards. While the current headquarters of Rega, with helicopter maintenance operations and the national air rescue centre, will be relocated to Kägiswil by the end of 2030, the entire ambulance jet operation will remain as a separate area at Zurich Airport. This infrastructure will be planned and constructed by FZAG as the client according to the operational requirements of Rega. Rega will use the new Jet Base as a tenant. The Jet Base comprises, in the construction sub-project, essentially a hangar with space for three ambulance jets, the associated office space, and the access (all landward) with an estimated floor area of approximately 6,600 m². As part of the overall performance tender, a project proposal and the binding offer for it are to be prepared in accordance with the requirements of FZAG and Rega. The composition of the team is left to the supplier.
