The extension of the U2 light rail line involves closing the gap between Bad Homburg v. d. Höhe station and the current terminus of the U2 line. Currently, the U2 line ends at the Gonzenheim stop. Planning for the new construction measure is currently underway. A plan approval decision dated 25.01.2016 is available for the construction project, which forms the basis for the planning services and the implementation of the new construction measure. The subject of this tender includes, among other things, environmental construction supervision services (soil, water, nature conservation) incl. examination of water protection concepts for U2 construction measures, this includes, among other things, groundwater monitoring, the relocation of lines, cable surveys, environmental measures, clearances incl. tree inspections.
