AZ Turnhout hereby informs the market of its intention to launch a call for tenders in the third quarter of 2026 for the purchase of isolators for the cleanroom of the pharmacy department at site A-kwadraat for the future fusion hospital AZ Kempen. The contract will be organised as a framework agreement and includes: • The purchase, delivery, installation and commissioning (including validation) of two new isolators • The option to extend with a third isolator • If necessary, the replacement of three existing isolators during the term of the framework agreement • Maintenance for a period of 10 years (of which the first 2 years are under warranty) The isolators will be used as a closed and controlled environment for the production, processing and packaging of sterile pharmaceuticals, including potentially hazardous substances such as cytotoxic drugs and monoclonal antibodies. Specifically: • One isolator will be operational alongside the two existing isolators in a cleanroom grade D, specifically for the preparation of potentially hazardous substances; • One isolator will be operational alongside the already present isolator in a cleanroom grade D, for the preparation of non-potentially toxic substances; • One additional isolator will be included as an option for future expansion.
