At the Forst (Lausitz) site, the construction and operation of a facility for the production of green hydrogen via electrolysis, as well as its provision for the refuelling of vehicles, is planned. The hydrogen supply is primarily intended to cover the regional public transport (ÖPNV) and waste management, and additionally to provide a refuelling option for other users. The overall concept also includes a trailer connection, which can be used both for supplying the site and for filling trailers. The facility is to be designed for long-term operation of at least 15 years.
