The AG is a regional network operator for electricity, heat, water and internet services. Stadtwerke Steinburg plan to build a new 110/20kV substation, designated UW Itzehoe-Nordwest, on a greenfield site. The 110 kV installation will be designed as an outdoor switchgear with a 2-busbar system and 2 transformers from 110 kV to 20 kV. The feed-in will be via 2 switchgear panels on the 110 kV side from the nearby 110 kV substation Itzehoe-West using 2.500/95 mm² single-core aluminium cables. This cable route extends approximately 2.3 km from the UW Itzehoe-West to the UW Itzehoe-Nordwest with 2.500/95 mm² single-core aluminium cables.
