Germany – Construction work for swimming pool – Freizeitbad GalaxSea Jena - Energetische Sanierung - Los 18: Gebäudeautomation

The Jenaer Bäder u. Freizeit GmbH intends to comprehensively modernise and, in particular, energetically renovate the GalaxSea leisure pool at Rudolstädter Straße 37, 07745 Jena. As part of the energy renovation, the uninsulated slides are to be replaced with a new facility, the outdoor pool is to be reconstructed and enclosed, and the former sports pool is to be climatically separated from the children's and experience area. The water surfaces are also to be reduced, the different water circuits separated from each other, and the indoor and outdoor saunas modernised. The barrier-free accessibility of the leisure pool is to be ensured by two lifts. The wellness area on the upper floor is to be converted into a staff area with changing rooms, showers, a lounge and office workstations. The new staff area is to meet current workplace requirements and provide employees with up-to-date working conditions. The former swimming and teaching pool will be redeveloped into a diving/springboard pool and a new children's area with a spray park and dry play area. The former children's paddling pool will be reconstructed with a smaller water surface and different water depths. The building services are to be renewed, expanded and adapted to the changed needs of the pool.
