Denmark – Financial and insurance services – Udbud af delkontrakter vedrørende administration af selvforsikringsordninger

The Danish Defence (hereinafter referred to as "FMI") is self-insured as a public authority, pursuant to circulars on self-insurance in the state, etc. (CIR no. 9783 of 9 December 2005). The Danish Defence has therefore adopted internal insurance terms and conditions, which, among other things, cover employees sent on missions by the Danish Defence. The task to be procured under Subcontract 1 includes administration of the Danish Defence's self-insurance scheme, including processing and payment of reimbursement of damage claims from all over the world, relating to: - Sickness and repatriation - Group personal accident cover. The task also includes providing a manned 24/7 alarm centre to ensure processing and follow-up of acute injuries and illnesses that are covered by the insurance terms and conditions. The task to be procured under Subcontract 2 includes administration of the Danish Defence's self-insurance scheme, including processing and payment of reimbursement of damage claims from all over the world, relating to: - Transport damage to personal effects (household goods in connection with deployment, recall or relocation of deployed personnel to locations outside Denmark) - Damage in connection with storage of personal effects, and - Catastrophe cover. It is the future supplier/suppliers of the subcontracts who will handle and process enquiries regarding damage from the insured group of persons and make reimbursement of expenses on behalf of the Danish Defence. The insurance administration arrangement for each of the subcontracts must be carried out in accordance with the terms, sums, cover and conditions set by the Danish Defence.
