The City of Talence wishes to undertake the construction of a cultural facility for the dissemination of performances of various forms (theatre, dance or music) for professionals and amateurs, with the aim of offering the population an environment conducive to living well together. The intention is to bring together different audiences by developing themes associated with live performance: amateur practices, artistic learning, professional creations, auditions, etc. To this end, the stage-audience relationship must be carefully designed to facilitate interaction between artists and audiences. Particular attention will be paid to the acoustics of the entire space in all required configurations. This 450-seat auditorium, configured for performances, must also be modular to transform into a banquet hall (e.g. for senior meals). The usable area is 1,365 m2. The estimated financial envelope allocated to the works by the contracting authority is 6,234,000 € excl. VAT, or 7,480,800 € incl. VAT (Value in April 2026), excluding furniture and preliminary demolitions.
