Germany – Air quality management – SV-LEL-260602-007 - PCB Raumluftmessungen UW Pasing

Carrying out semi-annual PCB air measurements in the Pasing substation, including documentation and preparation of a detailed report with findings and description of further procedures. The PCB investigations, which take place twice a year, are carried out exclusively in the existing building. The scope of services for the 14 PCB air measurements to be carried out simultaneously includes the following points:

- Coordination and organisation of the framework conditions for carrying out the air measurements (ventilation behaviour, ventilation operation)

- On-site appointment to carry out status-quo measurements, provision of set-up and dismantling of measuring devices

- Establishment of power supply at the measuring points

- Provision and safeguarding of power supply with additional RCDs

- On-site support of the measurements (approx. 3 hours)

- Documentation and sample preparation

- Plan entry of sampling points

- Detailed report with findings and description of further procedures

- Consideration of the outgassing behaviour of PCB

- Consideration of the respective ventilation conditions

- Evaluation of the results with regard to annual average value considerations

- Evaluation of the measurement results with regard to the limit value determination of the Committee for Indoor Guideline Values (AIR) (precautionary value (guideline value I) / hazard value (guideline value II))

- Recommendation for ongoing operation / use

- Report preparation incl. explanations regarding the PCB guideline in the respectively valid version

- Update of the measurement results and classification in the existing cadastre of PCB measurements already carried out per inspected building part/room

Additionally, prior familiarisation with 11 short reports and expert opinions on already carried out status-quo air measurements with regard to PCB and familiarisation with already carried out facade renovation (removal of PCB primary source).
