The "Tsaira" Pumped Storage Power Plant is the largest pumped storage hydroelectric power plant in Southeastern Europe and plays a crucial role in the country's power system. The plant is equipped with four single-stage hydro units (HUs) from 1 to 4 (HU1, HU2, HU3, and HU4), each with a capacity of 216 MW in generator mode and 197 MW in pump mode, which are located in the cavern in two hydro groups supplied by two separate penstocks. The subject of the public procurement includes the preparation of an expert assessment for the removal of secondary concrete around each spiral casing, the dismantling of the spiral casing, and the analysis of the static and dynamic scheme of the building structures and the machinery equipment, before and after the removal of the secondary concrete (including the spiral casing), as well as an assessment of the risk of performing the activities. The expert assessment must include the method, technology, and sequence of actions.
