The KAV acts as a company-affiliated insurance broker for municipal housing companies. Currently, the KAV manages insurance for a municipal housing company with a portfolio of approximately 37,100 apartments. The scope of work includes the brokerage of insurance, support in risk analysis, the determination of insurance needs, and damage prevention measures, as well as organisational and technical support in the settlement of claims and the evaluation of claims statistics. For the performance of the aforementioned tasks – comprehensive consultation and support in the field of insurance and the brokerage of insurance – the KAV is seeking an independent (not affiliated with one or more insurance companies) insurance broker with extensive knowledge and experience in the field of housing management, who will fully advise and support the KAV through a brokerage cooperation. The processing of claims in the area of building insurance together with the insurer (so-called claims management/claims handling) is an optional service, which the client may commission.
