Description

Introduction of a standardized portfolio and project management system with defined methods, templates, and workflows for ongoing and future projects. The new system is to improve programme and project control, reduce project risks and error costs, and sustainably increase stakeholder satisfaction. Furthermore, collaboration and communication are to be promoted through a central platform for all project participants, with clear responsibilities and improved team coordination. The new portfolio and project management tool is to bring the following benefits:

• Transparent portfolio overview (all projects, budgets, and statuses in a central cockpit), thus also better scalability for future projects

• Time saving through clear structures and processes

• Real-time reporting & dashboards (automated overviews and key figures possible)

• Resource planning & capacity control (identify bottlenecks early and optimize capacities)

• Automated workflows (cost and time savings through less manual routine, faster and optimized processes)

• Prioritization & strategic alignment (weight projects according to corporate goals)

• Early risk management (proactively identify risks and plan countermeasures)

• Budget & cost control (deviations immediately visible, well-founded financial decisions)

• Better collaboration & communication through a central platform and higher acceptance through uniform methods and tools

• Compliance & governance support (control standards, audits and releases in an audit-proof manner), increased quality of project results

• Data-based decision-making aids (possible: what-if analyses and scenario simulations at the push of a button)
