Throughout the entire track network and associated civil engineering structures and P+R facilities, green maintenance and care works must be carried out to maintain operational and traffic safety. This involves cutting/mowing/mulching the vegetation (bushes, shrubs, ground cover, wild growth, etc.) on predominantly extensive areas, as well as grass and meadows. In autumn, this also includes collecting leaves on traffic areas and, in connection with this, clearing drainage channels and ground inlets. If necessary, settlement waste in and next to the track area and on KVB properties must also be collected and disposed of professionally. The KVB intends to award the aforementioned services in the form of a framework agreement to a specialist company for garden and landscape construction; horticulture, landscape maintenance or rail service (hereinafter referred to as "Contractor") for a continuous period of at least four years, divided into three lots.
