To improve the quality of living and increase the attractiveness for students, residential buildings will be equipped with modern fibre-optic internet connections. Additionally, a highly available and high-performance WLAN access will be set up for the residential units and parts of the shared areas. The scope of services to be tendered includes the delivery, installation and operational handover of a complete solution, consisting of WLAN components, active LAN switches, end devices (routers), and broadband internet access based on symmetrical fibre-optic connections. After successful commissioning, the contractor will operate the internet service for all residential buildings and ensure the availability and proper functionality of the services and infrastructure throughout the entire contract period. This also includes the maintenance of the passive network infrastructure.
