DB Vertrieb GmbH provides distribution services for passenger transport. These services include personal consulting and ticket sales at stations, travel centers, and via virtual video travel centers. These offers provide access to tickets and information about public local transport (ÖPNV). Currently, DB Vertrieb uses two separate systems to manage its subscription customers and faces the challenge of replacing a historically grown and technically complex IT system landscape for the management and processing of subscriptions. These systems only partially meet today's functional and process-related requirements and hinder the implementation of modern, customer-oriented processes. Therefore, with the present call for tender, a new subscription management system for public local transport is to be procured. The aim is to introduce a solution with partially automated processes (partially via API). The solution should enable DB Vertrieb to efficiently manage subscriptions on behalf of transport associations and nationwide fare organisations, tailored to their requirements.
