Romania – Soil-decontamination work – Execuție lucrări - remediere sit contaminat pentru proiectul „Înființare și amenajare Grădina Urbană Corvinia Hunedoara”

The Contracting Authority, through this public procurement, aims to award the works contract, in line with the specific objectives of the project; more precisely, it aims to carry out the integrated structural remediation works of the contaminated site, as an obligatory preliminary phase on the site of the former Hunedoara Steel Combine. This procedure refers exclusively to the decontamination and ecological rehabilitation phase of the land, while the actual works for the base investment – consisting of “Establishment and Arrangement of Corvinia Urban Garden Hunedoara” (SMIS Code: 354985) – will be the subject of a subsequent public procurement. According to the technical project elaborated by TOTAL BUSINESS LAND S.R.L., the intervention plan combines two complementary minimally invasive technologies, distributed over two clearly delimited contaminated areas: • Zone A (North): Area of 22,187 sq.m (perimeter 654 m) treated by on-site washing of granular material. • Zone B (South): Area of 11,816 sq.m (perimeter 593 m) treated by isolation and geotechnical encapsulation. The technical solutions are described in the technical project for the remediation of the contaminated site, elaborated by the designer SC TOTAL BUSINESS LAND SRL, which is made available to bidders as an annex to the award documentation. In accordance with the provisions of art. 161 para. (1) of Law 98/2016, as amended and supplemented, the deadline by which any economic operator interested in participating in the public procurement procedure has the right to request clarifications or additional information regarding the award documentation is 20 days before the deadline for submission of tenders. In accordance with the provisions of art. 161 para. (2) of Law No. 98/2016 as amended and supplemented, the Contracting Authority establishes that the deadline within which it will respond to all requests for clarification/information additional is 10 days before the deadline for submission of tenders.
