The products that are the subject of this procedure are absolutely essential for the performance of the medical act, which is why the acquisition of these products is imperative for the successful completion of a medical act. These materials are indispensable for the conduct of activities within the Interventional Radiology Department of the Radiology and Medical Imaging Laboratory of SCJU Constanța, with the aim of performing Interventional Radiology procedures such as: diagnostic angiographies, angioplasties of lower limbs, of abdominal visceral arteries, vascular access for dialysis, embolizations in the treatment of hemorrhages, chemoembolizations, as well as other endovascular diagnostic and treatment procedures. By equipping with adequate and specific material resources for this highly specialized field, the hospital aims to ensure a modern, safe and performant medical act, which responds to European standards in the treatment of acute and chronic neurovascular pathologies. Interventional radiology procedures require, to an equal extent, high-level human expertise and the permanent availability of consumables and dedicated devices, without which a complete and efficient therapeutic approach to patients with vascular pathology cannot be achieved.
