Description

The Stiftung Kulturerbe Bayern intends to develop the listed castle ensemble Erkersreuth, located in the village centre, into a "culture campus". It is planned to gradually revitalise the entire castle area in several steps and establish it as the village centre of Erkersreuth. The conversion of the various buildings or parts of buildings will ultimately form a coherent and sustainable overall concept. The centre of the complex will be the listed castle. The other buildings will, in this context, serve as "supporting" buildings. The implementation of the overall measure is only possible through several funding components, which must be considered separately from each other. Due to the severely damaged roof of the castle, the static renovation of the roof and the timber beam ceilings incl. facade renovation is currently being carried out with funds from the Compensation Fund and the Oberfrankenstiftung. For the next construction phase, funds have already been earmarked from the Federal Programme KulturInvest, the Oberfrankenstiftung and other funding agencies. Once the cost estimate and the final use concept have been submitted, the Federal Government will then finally examine the measure and release the funds. A further separate funding component will then address the castle courtyard and possibly the so-called old brewery. The funding component for KulturInvest, for which this VgV procedure is being tendered, includes the following buildings/parts of buildings: • Castle: Conversion of the ground floor to a "small" gastronomy/café, cellar renovation (moisture) and interior renovation incl. technical services (denkmalfachlicher Fachbauleitung and interior design of the ground floor will be additionally commissioned) • Well house: Restoration without specific use • Building part Administrator's building: Overall restoration without major conversion measures • Building part Threshing barn: Demolition and new construction/partial new construction on the ground floor for seminar/meeting rooms, first floor as a large open uninsulated space for events and/or studio space. • A heating centre (wood chips) for all buildings is to be planned in the new construction area.
