Description of measures: As part of the "Restoration of Structural Fire Protection" measure, the structural adaptation and restoration of buildings 2a to 2h and K at the Deggendorf site of the Federal Police are to be carried out to ensure compliance with building regulations. The measure includes all phases of services of the HOAI. The basis for the measure are the existing fire safety certificates and the associated inspection certificates of the appointed inspectors. The aim of the measure is the complete implementation of the building regulation fire protection requirements specified in the inspection certificates and the seamless documentation of the measures carried out. After completion of the work, the conformity of the measures carried out with the inspection certificates is to be demonstrated and certified by the responsible inspectors. In total, approx. 43,000 m² of usable floor area (NUF) is to be processed. The cost ceiling (KOG) for the measure is 13.179 Mio. €. The planning is to be carried out by expert and experienced specialist planners for structural fire protection. These must have proven experience in the holistic planning and implementation of fire protection concepts for buildings of building class 5 with special construction requirements. The planning and execution services include in particular:

• Checking and fully taking over the requirements from the existing fire safety certificates and inspection certificates; if necessary, preparing supplementary certificates,

• Preparation of the execution and detail planning including certificates for compartmentalisation, fire resistance of components, fire stopping (fire barriers), escape and rescue route-related measures and, if necessary, necessary certificates for technical systems (fire detection, smoke extraction, fire extinguishing technology),

• Creation of a firewater pipe including the establishment of a new, hydraulically suitable hydrant at the site to ensure the required firewater supply; this includes hydraulic certificates, coordination with the water supplier and the fire department, necessary connection permits and the performance of pressure and flow tests,

• Coordination with the responsible building supervisory authority, the fire department and the inspectors as well as coordination with the user (Federal Police),

• Preparation of all necessary documents for acceptance (as-built drawings, amended fire safety certificates, inspection and acceptance protocols, defect lists) and involvement in the acceptance by the inspectors,

• Ensuring that the execution complies with the relevant building regulations and technical rules.
