Germany – Structures construction work – Errichtung Transformatorengebäude mit Sprühwasseranlage und Ölabscheider

MVV Grüne Wärme GmbH (a subsidiary of MVV Energie AG) (MVV) plans to construct and operate a river water heat pump system (WPA2) with a heating capacity of up to 165 MWth at the site of Grosskraftwerk Mannheim AG (GKM) in Mannheim-Neckarau. The scope of supply includes the planning, construction, and complete technical equipment of a new transformer building for two 110 kV transformers of the heat pump system WPA2. This includes civil and structural engineering works, including deep foundations, containment basins with oil separator system, transformer boxes, lighting, and the laying of cable protection pipes and their connection to existing infrastructure. Also included is the construction of a water mist fire suppression system with system technology in a container, including foundations and supply interfaces. The contractor will undertake all necessary planning, manufacturing, construction, assembly, testing, and commissioning services, as well as the coordination of subcontractors and the organisation of VdS inspections.
