The contract concerns the execution of the annual national monitoring of the Population Screening for Cancer (BVOK) based on established indicators and in accordance with previously published annual reports. As part of the regulatory task, the RIVM is responsible for monitoring and evaluating the population screenings. To this end, national monitors are drawn up annually to monitor the quality and accessibility of these population screenings, to signal bottlenecks (in the care chain), to be able to adjust, but also to account to the contracting authority VWS and the chain partners. This is also the target group for the monitor. The activities with the current supplier end on 31 December 2026. A new agreement for the monitoring of the Population Screening for Cancer (BVOK) must be tendered by the contracting authority. The execution of the monitoring of the BVOK is one contract with the final result of six uniform partial products, namely three monitors. 1. Monitor for population screening for breast cancer, both in Dutch and in English. 2. Monitor for population screening for cervical cancer, both in Dutch and in English. 3. Monitor for population screening for bowel cancer, both in Dutch and in English. The objective of this European tender is to conclude a service agreement with one contractor for the monitoring of the BVOK. The intended start date of the agreement to be concluded is 1 January 2027. The contracting authority wishes to enter into an agreement with the contractor for an initial period of four (4) years, with an additional two (2) times an option to extend by one (1) year.
