The subject of the tender procedure is freelance services as landscape design services required for the development of an inner-city open space into a quarter square, the Apostelgarten. The Apostelgarten is located in the Kiepenkerl district in the heart of the old town and in direct proximity to the historically significant Apostelkirche. The client's aim is the future-oriented development of the open space, which is currently rather unknown and characterized by parking spaces, into a square with varied staying quality and quarter identity. The ongoing coordination with the responsible authorities must be comprehensively taken into account in the planning. Central topics to be addressed in the project include, among others: 1) redesign and use of the former parking lot into a new, varied place to stay with quarter identity 2) functional and design-related connection of (current) parking lot and Apostelkirche surroundings to the overall Apostelgarten 3) integration of gastronomy into the square 4) more green and climate justice through preservation of trees, new planting and addition of insect-friendly vegetation 5) inviting entrance area visible from Drubbel and Bogenstraße with water feature in conjunction with the modernization of the Neubrückenstraße fountain 6) equipment with various seating options and some tables for non-commercial staying, playing and for quarter events 7) "Kirchgarten" with shaded and sunny areas and low hedge as framing 8) ensuring the traffic development function and the delivery area The service obligation of the contractor includes the planning services in the service spectra "Landscape Design" (Part 3 Section 2 HOAI in conjunction with Annex 11) as well as "Technical Equipment Design" within the cost group 550 according to DIN 276 (Part 4 Section 2 HOAI in conjunction with Annex 15). The landscape design is assigned to the fee zone IV, the technical equipment to the fee zone II. The client intends a step-by-step order: With the conclusion of the contract, initially only the performance phases 1 to 3 are awarded. The further performance phases 4 to 7 (stage 2) as well as 8 to 9 (stage 3) will be called up and ordered separately at a later date.
