Germany – Plasterboard works – Trockenbau - Dokumentationszentrum Tagebau Garzweiler

The Zweckverband intends to establish the "Dokumentationszentrum Tagebau Garzweiler". Located directly at the opencast mine, it is to be a lively place where the landscape and cultural change caused by the opencast mining is documented and experienced by residents and visitors through an exhibition area. The building is part of the "Blau-Grünen Bands Garzweiler" growing around the opencast mine. In August, the demolition of buildings and greenhouses of a former nursery took place on the site of the future Dokumentationszentrum Tagebau Garzweiler. Further earthworks are to be carried out in November and December in preparation for the civil engineering work. Consequently, the Zweckverband LANDFOLGE Garzweiler intends to award a contract for the drywall work for the realisation of the future Dokumentationszentrum Tagebau Garzweiler.
