This is an above-threshold procurement under the open procedure. The procurement notice has been published in the HILMA service at www.hankintailmoitukset.fi. Contracts are made for the period 1 November 2026 – 31 October 2027 and thereafter the contracting authority has the option to extend the contracts for the period 1 November 2027 – 31 October 2031. The winter maintenance contract will be based on the municipality's announcement of the winter maintenance. The main contractor, acting as the lead designer, must independently monitor its own and any subcontractors' work performance based on the winter maintenance criteria set by the municipality of Ilmajoki. The contracting authority will pay the contractors the contract sum calculated according to the unit prices and work performance, and in addition, a standby allowance. The standby allowance includes standby and readiness for duty during the winter period from 1 November to 30 April, transfers to contract sites according to the conditions of the invitation to tender and the removal of ploughs procured by the municipality. If there are changes to the scope of the road and street network or real estate managed by the municipality, the contracting authority may change the scope of the contract. In this case, the contract price will be reviewed in relation to the change in the contract area and if the need for change in the scope of the contract area is more than 10%, the amount and cost impact will be negotiated and agreed separately with the contractor.
